Acquisition Policies for Original Paintings

• All works represented on this web site are originals, unless otherwise indicated.
• All works are certified to be free from all defects due to faulty craftsmanship or faulty materials for a period of twelve months from date of sale.  If flaws shall appear during this time, repairs shall be made by me.
• Copyright of work is held by artist.
• Resale or transfer of work requires that I be informed of the new owner and the price of sale.  Should the price be more than $1000 over the original price stated herein, 10% of amount over original price shall be given to artist by seller.
• Artist shall have right to photograph piece, if necessary, for publicity or reproduction purposes.
• Artist shall have right to include artwork in retrospective show for a maximum of 3 months.
• If artwork is rented out by purchaser, artist will receive 25% of rental income.
• Artwork cannot be exhibited in public without written approval of artist.

• Exhibit period will not exceed 1 month.  After 1 month of a no-fee display time, representative may enter into a Rental/Lease agreement which may be renewed successively for one year at which time painting must be purchased or returned. 
• Exhibit representative shall be completely responsible during display term for loss of or damage to said property from whatever cause, including fire, theft or accident.  Frame may not be painted or altered. Painting may not be painted or altered.  Painting may not be transferred to another person's care. Exhibit Representative's liability for damaged, loss, or stolen property is the full purchase price of the work to be paid in full to the Artist. 
• All inquiries concerning sales, artist's personal or professional information, or future exhibits containing work from this artist will be referred to the phone number listed above for the artist.
• At the expiration, termination, or default of this Exhibit Agreement, representative agrees to return said property to the Artist in original condition.
• Exhibited art work is the property of the Artist.  The Artist retains all rights to photograph, reproduce, and distribute likenesses of the work as necessary.  Copyright of work is held by the Artist. 

• Rental period is 3 months.  Rental agreement may be renewed successively for one year at which time painting must be purchased or returned.  Rental and renewal fees are payable in advance. 
• Rental fees can be applied to purchase price. 
• Renter agrees to return painting on due date or pay overdue charge of $5.00 per day.
• Renter shall be completely responsible during rental term for loss of or damage to said property from whatever cause, including fire, theft or accident.  Frame may not be painted or altered. Painting may not be painted or altered.  Painting may not be transferred to another person's care. Renter's liability for damaged, loss, or stolen property is the full purchase price of the work to be paid in full to the Artist. 
• A $25 delivery charge for a new rental piece and/or rotation of pieces will be made at the beginning of each three month rental term.  The delivery fee will not be applied if rental agreement is renewed with the same work or when rental fee is applied toward the purchase of same work.
• At the expiration, termination, or default of this Rental Agreement, Renter agrees to return said property to the Artist in original condition.
